It is here that we tell our story
of how we became Spinoni owned......
One fine day we entered our pound puppy (as he
will always affectionately be referred) Hunter
in an obedience class at D&B Supply (he
was in dire need of it!) Toward the end of the
classes, one lovely evening, a gentleman that hadn't been there
throughout the classes, brought this absolutely stunning dog with him.
So of course after class, we met Kelly Hendrix and our first Italian
Spinone, Mirkwoods Coco Fudge....Talk about love at first sight! We
did research on the internet, anything and everything we could find out about Spinone. We also kept in touch with Kelly and about 4 months later he
indicated that he was going to breed Mirkwoods Sadie with North Ridge
BJ....just so we would know.....well April 27th 1999, Sadie had 9 lovely
pups. We chose Mirkwoods
Gabby out of that "G" litter. I must say Alex got exactly what he
wanted.....he wanted the most assertive female.....well she hasn't let us down
on that front. So we owe it ALL to Hunter! He has been a great sport about
the invasion of Spinoni. What a GOOD BOY he is! Though if he had
things his way, he would be an only dog...Ok 1 friend wouldn't be too bad.
